I was preparing my top singles and albums lists for 2005 and found that good music was lacking this year compared to previous years. Turns out, that that may not be true; maybe I just didn’t pay attention to the right music and missed out on some catchy stuff.

Anyways, look for my lists forthcoming. In the meantime, I’ve been listening to a couple of albums to be released next year and they’re pretty good. So in the next few months, check out The Darkness’ One Way Ticket To Hell & Back, Belle & Sebastian’s The Life Pursuit, and The Strokes’ First Impressions of Earth.
