so radiohead last night, 17 songs + 6 over two encores, 15-20 thousand fans, some of the highlights:

  • everyone lighting up their zippo’s during fake plastic trees and the slow part in paranoid android. i thought i was at a freaking chinese pop concert. paranoid android was extra cool because you could see the weed smokers blowing puffs of smoke into the air at the same time; i think they were too stoned by fake plastic trees to do the same.
  • my iron lung – first song i knew and the best song off of the bends
  • thom stopping a song midway because some guy passed out in the pseudo mosh pit up front, then restarting the band and visuals at “verse 3”.
  • the opening act, kid koala sucked. he scratched over moon river! brutal.
  • it ain’t over till they play karma police.
  • the train losing electricity on the way back home.

all in all a fun night, too bad it was on a wednesday night and i’m at work now.
