The hockey pool that I’m in with Jeb and Nighty Night has weird scoring. They call it rotisserie scoring and I think of Swiss Chalet vs…well actually who else serves rotisserie chicken?

Anyways, you’re ranked against everyone else in your pool. So if you have more goals than everyone in your pool, you get the same number of points as players in your pool, and everyone ranking below you has one point less for each rank below you. The advantage I guess of this is that no one should run away with the lead since there is a cap on the number of points you can get.

This doesn’t really sound like a good system, but it was the only one that was free and had custom leagues! Sporting News had a good idea where you draft a team that has to fit under a budget of $30 million. Too bad it wasn’t free.
