It seems to be that Sweet & Sour is old & busted, while Mango Tango is teh new hotness, well from a restauranteur’s view anyways. I first tried Mango Tango chicken at Spring Rolls and was not too impressed. I expected more mango flavour for a specialty dish. Since then, I have seen it at other Chinese restaurants which leads me to believe that it is in fact not a Spring Rolls thing, but a known recipe.

I fully expect this trend to take off and be present in Chinese fast food in the near future. It’s got such a catchy name and mango seems pretty trendy. So I am proclaiming that Mango Tango is the new Sweet & Sour (or is it Tango Mango? Whatever).
