the last couple of days i’ve been watching canada play at the world championships of hockey. compared to the playoffs it’s pretty exciting; not to say that the playoffs aren’t as it has its moments but i would characterize it more as suspensful than exciting. it’s more like how hockey should be played; there’s less clutching and grabbing cuz of the larger ice surface (maybe, i watched them play belarus and latvia), more outlet passes without the red line, and players can get into scoring position easier.
