the last little while i’ve had to give short one to two minute speeches in front of classes of up to 200 people. it’s not the easiest thing to do considering i’m a chinese guy and was brought up to be studious and well, to not stand out. i’ve always had trouble standing up and speaking when the attention is entirely focused on you; my thoughts get jumbled and things don’t come out as they should.

well, i don’t think i’ve been doing too bad lately. i think the trick is to have a good idea of what you’re going to say and like everything, be confident. so i’m doing fine with short speeches, now how do i do the same in presentations?
