i literary spent the entire evening reading the diary of a sound engineer. it’s one of the fields where you don’t really hear much about unless you know someone in that line of work or watch a lot of behind the music. i knew that digital editing was pervasive in the music industry, but i guess it never sunk in how much is actually done by the musician and how much is manufactured.
