I was stopped at a traffic light last friday, at one of those intersections that had a gas station on either side. In this case, it was a Petro and an Esso. The Petro was selling gas at 78.9¢\/L , and I looked across the street to find the Esso selling gas at 87.9¢\/L?? I’ve noticed that this particular Esso always sold gas a little bit higher than the Petro (maybe because it was newer), but today it seemed like the gas attendant was dyslexic.<\/p>\n
Anyways, yesterday my preferred Esso station ran out of gas as I drove past. I didn’t think much about it because I still had more than half a tank. Today, I noticed yet another Esso that closed down due to lack of gas. Have you noticed that gas prices have spiked 10¢ in the last week? Apparently, Esso is having a gas shortage<\/a> in Canada.
