a while ago, i switched the faceplate on my phone with one of those cheap ones you can buy at fob malls. unfortunately it was not only cheap in price but design; i couldn’t get the damn thing off after i put it on! now considering i had chosen the faceplate, it would’ve been fine if not for the fact that the phone lets a lot of dust under the screen and i couldn’t clean it anymore.

but looking back at it, the overall quality of the phone itself (motorola c333) is pretty shoddy. they seem to have just shoved in all the garbage that people younger than me would like: screensavers, wallpaper, programmable ringtones, changeable faceplates, games, etc; and rushed it out the door before the holiday season. it’s as if they never spent any time in qa, the games are not properly reset (there are high scores from mysterious people), features that don’t work are left in the menus (leaving you to wonder why they don’t do anything), the keys are unresponsive (or is it a missing feature?); if it weren’t for the small size i would be fairly annoyed at my choice.
